Perl · Lagrein DOC 2023

  The “Perl” Lagrein from the Bolzano Winery embodies the essence of the South Tyrolean terroir in its purest form. The grapes for this wine thrive in the sandy, heat-retaining soils of the Bolzano basin, an area known for its ideal conditions for Lagrein grapes. After harvesting, the grapes undergo gentle vinification, during which they are carefully processed to preserve the typical aromas and structure of the Lagrein grape. The wine is aged in large wooden barrels, which gives it additional depth without compromising its freshness and fruitiness.

In the glass, the “Perl” Lagrein presents itself in a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet seduces with aromas of ripe dark berries, complemented by floral notes and a hint of spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant freshness.
