Gerardo's Notes: 'Pinot noir or Blauburgunder has been native to South Tyrol for over 100 years. The warm, well-ventilated vineyards on the Ritten above Bolzano, produce a well-structured, elegant Pinot Noir. The mash is traditionally fermented in wooden barrels, aged for six months in French oak barriques, and continues to age in bottle after bottling.
