  The “Prestige Grieser Lagrein Riserva” from the Bolzano Winery is a precise staging of a red wine natural play: the grapes, exclusively from the Lagrein variety, come from the sandy alluvial soils around Gries near Bolzano, where the interplay between warm daytime and cool nighttime air produces a special ripeness. In the cellar, traditional red wine fermentation is followed by maturation in French barriques and large wooden barrels - an ageing process that combines depth and elegance and gives the wine the fine spice and velvety structure that make it a true Riserva.

In the glass, this Lagrein reveals a deep dark ruby red color with violet reflections, a visual promise of its concentration. The nose unfolds aromas of ripe cherries and wild berries, accompanied by earthy humus and delicate vanilla cocoa notes - a bouquet that tells the story of both the soil and the aging process.
