Gewürztraminer DOC 2016

  The Gewürztraminer from the Bolzano Winery is a living example of South Tyrol's aromatic diversity. The grapes thrive on the warm, steep slopes around Bolzano, at altitudes of around 400 to 600 meters. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the wine's freshness and fruitiness. The name “Classic” refers to the traditional production method and the clear, unadulterated expressiveness of the wine.

In the glass, the Gewürztraminer from the Classic line presents itself in a bright straw yellow with golden reflections. The bouquet is intense and aromatic, with pronounced nutmeg notes accompanied by delicate citrus and apricot tones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with a pleasant spiciness and a long finish. This Gewürztraminer is a versatile accompaniment to Asian dishes, shellfish, and spicy cheeses.
