Pinot Noir Riserva Vigna Ganger is intense ruby red in color. On the nose, hints of wild berries, sour cherries and raspberries, underlined by a light note of marzipan. The palate is elegant and refined, with well-integrated acidity and spice. This Pinot Noir has a delicate yet complex structure and soft tannins. Gerardo's Notes: 'The foundation for Vigna Ganger is years of extensive research and countless experiments in the middle of the development of small quantities of wine. The Pinot Noir grapes come from two selected plots in the single vineyard site of Girlan between 450-500m above sea level. The vineyards face east and west respectively and cover a total area of 1 hectare. The 20-25 year old vines grow on poor, gravelly soils formed by moraine deposits on volcanic porphyry rock.
