Kellerei Terlan, South Tyrol
The dark garnet red color of this wine is immediately striking. Its bouquet is dominated by an intense fruity aroma characterized by dried cranberries and sour cherries. These are enriched by a floral scent of lilac and the smell of cooked bay leaf. A subtle chocolaty note is also perceptible. On the palate, the Lagrein is very juicy and harmonious. Its fine texture and delicate tannins give it a great fullness. It is extremely velvety and full-bodied on the palate. - Gerardo [TS03/23]
