  The “Gries” Lagrein Riserva from the Terlan Winery is an impressive tribute to the indigenous Lagrein variety and the special terroir of the Gries district of Bolzano: the grapes come from the sandy and gravelly alluvial soils of this vineyard, where the vines take root and develop their deep connection to the earth. This wine benefits from careful hand selection, controlled maceration, and aging in both large wooden barrels and barriques—a process that combines depth, structure, and elegance.

In the glass, the “Gries” Lagrein Riserva presents itself in a deep ruby to garnet red with violet reflections, and its bouquet opens with intense notes of sour cherries and plum jam, interwoven with earthy mineral tones and a hint of dark chocolate.
