  The Monticol Blauburgunder Riserva from the Terlan Winery is an impressive interpretation of the Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir) grape variety, which has its roots in the porphyry and limestone-rich soils of South Tyrol. The grapes come exclusively from carefully selected plots in the vineyards around Terlan, where hand-picking, slow maceration, and aging half in barriques and half in large wooden barrels give the wine its remarkable structure.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir displays a bright ruby red color that already promises depth and elegance. The bouquet opens with aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, and red currants, interwoven with noble spice, flint, and subtle undertones of tobacco and wild mushrooms. On the palate, it impresses with polished tannins, precise minerality, and a long finish—a wine that is excellent enjoyed on its own or paired with stylish menus, such as game or mushroom risotto. - Gerardo [TS10/21]
