Hexenbichler · Vernatsch DOC 2023

  The “Hexenbichler” Vernatsch from the Tramin Winery is a living testament to South Tyrolean wine tradition. Its name, “Hexenbichler,” refers to the historic vineyards around Tramin, which thrive at altitudes between 300 and 450 meters. The vines are rooted in calcareous, loamy to gravelly loam soils, which give the grapes a special minerality. The vineyards are exposed to strong temperature fluctuations between day and night, which helps the grapes retain their freshness and aroma.

In the glass, the “Hexenbichler” presents itself in a bright ruby red. The bouquet unfolds with fresh, fruity aromas reminiscent of red berries and a hint of bitter almond. On the palate, it is soft and smooth, with a fine tannin structure and a harmoniously rounded finish.
