  The “Maglen” Pinot Nero Riserva from the Tramin Winery is a prime example of mastery in handling the demanding Pinot Noir grape. The grapes come from two neighboring but different locations: the historic high plateau of Mazon and the steep, sun-drenched vineyards in Glen. This combination of different microclimates and soils gives the wine remarkable complexity and depth. Vinification involves a long maceration period at a controlled temperature in large oak barrels, which brings out the typical aromas of the grape variety to their best advantage.

In the glass, Maglen presents itself in a bright ruby red with delicate garnet reflections. The bouquet is complex and seductive with aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, and a hint of spices. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with a fine tannin structure and lively freshness. The finish is long and harmonious, accompanied by a subtle mineral note.
