Only a few Gewürztraminers can compete with those from Alsace - and those that can are all from South Tyrol: The Gewürztraminer 'Nussbaumer' is a bright intense golden yellow in the glass. To the nose, this rich white wine reveals a kaleidoscope of scents reminiscent of rose petals, ylang ylang, ripe yellow exotic fruits, honeydew melon and mango. This spectrum is accompanied by notes of dried herbs, ginger, saffron, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Of deep aromatics, full-bodied and extracted but with fine spicy juiciness and salty minerality. "Sparkling, bright golden yellow with light green nuances. Very intense and present nose, rich of yellow roses, lychees, some bergamot, behind it lots of cloves, very inviting.
