Urban · Lagrein Riserva DOC 2020

  The “Urban” Lagrein Riserva from the Tramin Winery is a masterful interpretation of South Tyrol's oldest indigenous red wine variety. The grapes for this wine come from the best vineyards around Tramin, where the vines thrive on calcareous soils and benefit from a unique microclimate. After harvesting, careful vinification takes place, followed by aging in oak barrels, which gives the wine additional complexity and structure.

In the glass, the “Urban” Lagrein Riserva presents itself in a deep, almost black purple red and unfolds an intense bouquet of dark berries such as blackberries and blueberries, accompanied by floral notes of violets and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with elegant tannins and a long, lingering finish accompanied by a subtle spiciness and a hint of bitter cocoa.
