Brenntal · Gewürztraminer Riserva DOC 2022

  The “Brenntal” Gewürztraminer Riserva from the Kurtatsch Winery is a charismatic combination of terroir and variety: it comes from the high-altitude Brenntal vineyard northwest of Kurtatsch, where sandy and loamy clay soils are interspersed with minerals and the microclimate is characterized by warm days and cooling fall winds. Selective hand harvesting, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and several years of fine yeast aging in stainless steel and large wooden barrels result in a wine of great structure and clarity that combines the rare aromatics of Gewürztraminer with the character of its South Tyrolean origin.

In the glass, Brenntal presents itself in a bright golden yellow with a warm glow - a visual promise of depth and elegance. The nose is carried by exotic aromas such as lychee and mango, complemented by rose petals, lavender, and a delicate note of caramelized orange peel, which refine the bouquet. On the palate, it is creamy yet lively, with a smooth texture and a noticeable mineral undertone that impressively underscores its origin.
