Libell · Weinberg Dolomiten Weiss IGT 2024

  The “Libell” Dolomiten Weiß wine from the Kurtatsch winery is a light-footed yet complex white wine, created from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The grapes come from cool hillsides around Kurtatsch, where morainic soils, calcareous gravel, and alpine evenings ensure lively freshness. In the cellar, heavy wood is deliberately avoided and stainless steel tanks are used instead to preserve the varietal clarity and fine minerality of the origin.

In the glass, Libell is a light straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections—an invitation to lightness and concentration at the same time. The nose reveals aromas of delicate white flowers, sun-ripened peaches, and apricots, complemented by subtle exotic fruit and mineral notes that hint at the alpine terroir. On the palate, the wine impresses with its lively freshness, smooth texture, and a fine, balanced structure; the finish is clear and persistent.
