After 50 years of work in the vineyard as in the cellar, the first Riserva from the house Le Ragose is available on the market: this wine is intense and incredibly powerful, has tannins and resilience - as so usual in the house Le Ragose. On the nose, black cherry jam, spices and cherry liqueur. The palate is dense, harmonious and rich, with silky tannins. - Gerardo [TS01/07]
Gerardo's Notes: Le Ragose wines carry their own distinctive signature. The Valpolicella, Ripasso and Amarone all have tannins and acid supported resilience and are built to last. The wines are small-batch and handcrafted, and come from one of the highest vineyards in all of Valpolicella.
