The Efeso is a warm golden yellow with amber reflections in the glass and seduces with an intense bouquet of ripe yellow apples, fresh mint and a hint of sea buckthorn. This aromatic diversity gives it an unmistakable personality and depth.
On the palate, the wine is elegant and complex, with floral nuances of acacia and orange blossom. The fine structure and long-lasting finish make it a white wine full of character with ageing potential that impressively reflects the authenticity and finesse of Calabria. - Gerardo [TS10/17]

© www.librandi.it Efeso is one of the newer creations from the House of Librandi: this woody white wine is made from the autochthonous grape variety Mantonico, which is a special feature. For originally this ancient grape variety was used only for sweet dessert wines. Nicodemo Librandi developed this white wine together with the Önologist Donato Lanati, after they tasted various white Burgundies at a tasting. Donato felt the need to create a Calabrian equivalent using indigenous grape varieties. The result, aged in barrique, delighted even famous wine critics such as Luigi Veronelli. - Gerardo [TS10/17]
