Gerardo's Notes: The original Prosecco Spumante Superiore is grown, vinified and bottled in 15 municipalities of the Veneto region, between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. This Prosecco bears the DOCG appellation as well as the Superiore suffix to indicate its high quality. An elegant, versatile spumante of a subtle straw-yellow color and fruity-floral bouquet. Within this quality category there are three versions, which differ in their residual sugar content: Brut is the driest version and ideal as an aperitif. The Extra Dry is in the middle and has the most pronounced aroma. The mildest Prosecco is the Dry, with the highest content of residual sugar - ideal with desserts.
