Dry Lambrusco of deep ruby color and tangy perlage. With pink foam, the Assolo offers a concentrated, hearty pleasure. The aroma is rich with cherry and blackberry fruit. Full-bodied yet refreshing on the palate, good balance between fruit acidity and tannin. - Gerardo [TS06/24]

  Gerardo's Notes: Only the best grapes are used for Assolo, which is limited each year: it is made from the Lambrusco Salamino grape variety and various other Lambrusco varieties. Natural fermentation in the bottle gives this wine a perfect fullness of character. Try dry Lambrusco with bread dishes but also with heavy and spicy meat dishes.
