The Lagrein Klosteranger is the centerpiece of Muri-Gries, a historic single-vineyard wine that thrives within the old monastery walls on first-class terroir. This Lagrein Riserva, characterized by an authentic interpretation of grape variety and origin, presents itself as an expressive single-vineyard wine with a concentrated and straightforward personality. Its deep garnet red color already reveals the intensity of this wine. On the nose, it reveals complex, fresh aromas of black berries, accompanied by subtle notes of coffee and a hint of raspberries. On the palate, the wine develops grippy tannins and a lively, fresh acidity. Its delicate fullness and depth give it a complex, elegant structure, which is clearly expressed in the long-lasting finish.
