Passerina Colline Pescaresi IGP 2025

  Nestore Bosco's “Passerina Colline Pescaresi” offers an inviting interpretation of the indigenous Passerina variety in the heart of Abruzzo. Grown on the gentle slopes around Pescara, the vines benefit from their proximity to the Adriatic Sea and the gravelly, limestone-rich soils—a combination that gives the wine its characteristic minerality and crisp freshness. The grapes are carefully harvested, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged only briefly, allowing the natural fruit and terroir to express themselves clearly.

In the glass, the wine is a light straw yellow with subtle green reflections - a visual promise of freshness and lightness. The nose reveals aromas of white flowers, pear, and a subtle hint of sea and minerals, immediately suggesting its proximity to the coast. On the palate, Passerina surprises with a lively texture, fine elegance, and a smooth finish—the fruit remains present, the acidity subtle and balanced.
