Always a premiere is the Amarone 'Ripa della Volta' (Valley of the Gods), from the second estate of the Montresor family (Ottella). After a long search, new vineyards in the neighboring Valpolicella could be acquired and developed.
The high-quality, chalky soils are similar to those of Burgundy: this unique location, with its microclimate and marl soils - from which the Dolomites were also formed - create the conditions for an honest, sustainable and personal product.
Opulent and at the same time finesse-rich Amarone della Valpolicella. The aroma is concentrated of ripe cherries, bomber berries and cloves. On the palate full-bodied, rich and harmonious. Limited small edition. - Gerardo [TS10/16]
