The Lugana Cru Le Creete comes from the single vineyard of the same name near San Benedetto di Lugana. The color in the glass is a dense, warm yellow with straw-yellow highlights. On the nose of engaging, exotic fruit and a hint of herbaceous spicy notes. Expressive on the palate with a fine creamy texture due to the light wood imprint. In the aftertaste of discreet mineral note. - Gerardo [TS02/21]

Gerardo's Notes: In terms of concentration and integrity, Le Creete is a special Lugana - from a premium single vineyard at that. There is very little wood aromatics in Le Creete, contributing more to the wine's smoothness and density. Due to the site characteristics, this Lugana is more profound, enriched with a slightly salty flavor due to Ottella's calcareous clay soils. Stylistically unique and arguably the best Lugana of the Montresor brothers.
