The Lugana Le Creete comes from the renowned single vineyard in San Benedetto di Lugana - an area that is one of the best in the entire DOC. This privileged origin characterizes the wine in an unmistakable way. In the glass, it has a dense, warm yellow color and straw-gold reflections, which already indicate its concentration and maturity. The nose reveals a multi-layered, intense aroma of exotic fruits such as pineapple, mango and a hint of melon, finely underpinned by herbal, spicy accents and a hint of nutty ripeness.
On the palate, Le Creete is powerful yet balanced, with a fine, creamy texture and elegant structure. A gentle, well-integrated woody note gives the wine additional depth without ever pushing itself to the fore. © www.ottella.it Ottella's “Le Creete” Lugana is made from 100% Turbiana grapes (also known as Trebbiano di Lugana) and grows in the iconic single vineyard Le Creete near San Benedetto di Lugana in the south of Lake Garda. The soil there has a high proportion of white clay, which serves as the defining basis for the structure and minerality of this wine. The grapes are harvested by hand, gently pressed, and carefully aged in stainless steel tanks to emphasize the elegance and freshness of the vine.
