  The single-varietal Anticaia Primitivo Salento from Cantina San Donaci perfectly reflects the sun-scorched terroir of Salento: the indigenous Primitivo variety is rooted in the sandy and clayey soils around San Donaci, where the grapes ripen early and develop deep color and rich fruit aromas. The exclusive use of medium-aged vines and traditional winemaking methods—including temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in stainless steel tanks—ensure a clear origin and freshness in style.

In the glass, this wine displays an intense ruby red color with violet reflections - a visible promise of power and fullness. On the nose, the depth intensifies with aromas of preserved cherries, red plums, seductive wild berries, and a subtle herbal note from the Mediterranean environment. On the palate, it is velvety, with harmonious tannins that are not loud but rather sustained - an expression of the winery, the origin, and simply good drinking pleasure at the same time.
