Gerardo's Notes: With a good twenty grams of residual sugar, Malvasia Amabile Pietra Caya is clearly sweet. Yet the wine has a pleasant spiciness and subtle, sweet tannins. The wine can be enjoyed 'solo', is suitable for friends of sweet wines also well as a food companion (eg to pasta bakes or stuffed eggplant).
