  Santa Venere's Vurgadà Rosso appears in the glass in a deep ruby red with slight garnet reflections that emphasize its maturity and intensity. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of dark berries such as cherries, blackberries, and plums, accompanied by subtle spicy notes and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. The fine minerality, reminiscent of the limestone and clay soils of Calabria, gives the wine additional depth and elegance, clearly reflecting its terroir.

On the palate, Vurgadà Rosso is harmonious and smooth, with well-integrated tannins that give it structure and balance. The lively acidity supports the fruity aromas and provides freshness, while the finish is long, balanced, and persistent. Particularly noteworthy is the use of the indigenous Gaglioppo grape variety, which has been cultivated in Calabria for centuries and gives this wine its characteristic aroma and depth.
