Gewürztraminer DOC 2023

  The Gewürztraminer from the Schreckbichl Winery is a fascinating white wine that masterfully showcases the aromatic diversity of the grape variety of the same name. The grapes come from the best vineyards in South Tyrol, where the combination of alpine climate and Mediterranean influence creates ideal conditions for growing this noble variety. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh aromas. Subsequent storage on the fine lees gives the wine additional depth and complexity.

In the glass, the Gewürztraminer presents itself in a bright golden yellow. The bouquet unfolds intense aromas of yellow roses, lychee, cloves, and a hint of nutmeg—an olfactory firework display that beguiles the senses. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet elegant, with a delicate spiciness and a pleasant freshness that perfectly complements the fruit aromas.
