Blauburgunder DOC 2023

  The Pinot Noir from the Schreckbichl winery in South Tyrol reveals a certain restraint with pleasant elegance, which at the same time highlights its sophistication and origin. The grapes thrive on moraine deposits with clay and porphyry debris in the Überetsch region under the influence of cooling fall winds - a terroir that gives the wine a precise fruit character and a fine structure. In the cellar, fermentation takes place traditionally in stainless steel tanks, followed by subtle post-fermentation in wooden and concrete barrels, which complement the bouquet with earthy nuances and a velvety texture.

In the glass, it shines with a medium-deep ruby red color, indicating a wine of restrained power and great style. The nose reveals aromas of sour cherry, red berries, and a hint of spicy finesse, while on the palate, the wine is round, juicy, and smooth with a fine tannin structure that makes it versatile and pleasantly accessible.
