Cabernet DOC 2023

  The Cabernet from the Schreckbichl winery is an expressive red wine that embodies the characteristic features of South Tyrolean winemaking. In the sun-drenched vineyards around Girlan, the vines thrive on calcareous soils, which give the wine a fine minerality. After harvesting, traditional vinification takes place, followed by aging in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine additional depth and complexity. This careful production method ensures a balanced and harmonious wine that reflects the authenticity of the region.

In the glass, the Cabernet presents itself in a deep ruby red with garnet red reflections. The bouquet unfolds aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, and subtle spice notes reminiscent of pepper and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with well-integrated tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
