Cornelius · Merlot-Cabernet Riserva DOC 2019

  The “Cornelius” Merlot-Cabernet Riserva from the Schreckbichl Winery is an impressive cuvée that embodies the elegance and depth of South Tyrolean winemaking. Named after the first settler and winemaker in the area, this wine combines the best grapes from the region's top vineyards. The careful vinification process includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 20 months of aging in barrique barrels, which give the wine additional complexity and structure.

In the glass, the Cornelius presents itself in a deep garnet red with violet reflections. The bouquet unfolds aromas of blackcurrants, cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla, accompanied by velvety tannins. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet elegant, with a harmonious balance between fruit and spice.
