LR · Südtirol Weiß Riserva DOC 2020 (1er Geschenkbox)

  The “LR” Weiß Riserva from the Schreckbichl Winery is an impressive cuvée made from the white grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc, whose name pays tribute to Luis Raifer, a formative figure in the history of the winery. The grapes come from carefully selected east and southeast-facing vineyards in Überetsch, characterized by moraine and limestone deposits and cooling mountain winds - a terroir that gives the wine its mineral depth and elegant texture. In the cellar, each variety undergoes separate fermentation and is then harmoniously blended into the cuvée - with extended aging on the fine lees and partly in wooden or barrique barrels, which gives the wine structure and richness of layers.

In the glass, the LR displays a rich straw yellow color with golden reflections and unfolds a multifaceted bouquet: the spectrum ranges from exotic fruits and ripe pears to hints of yellow apples and subtle notes of bread crust and flint. On the palate, an inviting fullness combines with lively fruitiness and an elegant minerality, underpinned by harmonious wood notes - the result is a white wine that is both powerful and subtle.
