  The “Bauda” Nizza Riserva from Tenuta Olim Bauda is a perfect expression of the Barbera variety from the renowned wine-growing region of Nizza Monferrato in Piedmont. The grapes come from the winery's historic vineyard, whose location and soil structure—clay soils with limestone and sand—offer ideal conditions for concentration and origin sharpness. After being harvested by hand, the wine matures for several months in large French oak barrels, where it gains depth and an elegant wood influence. This care in the vineyard and in the cellar is reflected in the name - “Bauda” stands for the family estate with tradition and quality.

In the glass, “Bauda” reveals a deep purple color with violet reflections that betray its maturity and concentration. The nose unfolds dense aromas of ripe cherries, plums, and blackberries, accompanied by noble spice notes such as cocoa, coffee, and a hint of licorice - the result of intensive barrel aging. On the palate, the wine impresses with its powerful yet balanced structure: juicy fruit, harmoniously integrated tannins, and a lively column structure lead to a long-lasting, spicy finish.
