Infinitum · Primitivo DOC 2025

  Cantine Torrevento's Infinitum Primitivo brings the sun-kissed slopes of Apulia to the glass in an elegant and accessible form. It is vinified from a single grape variety, Primitivo—an indigenous grape that reveals its origins in the limestone and clay soils surrounding the winery. The vineyards benefit from Mediterranean breezes and a sunny location, which allows the fruit to ripen while retaining fresh accents. In the cellar, careful fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, keeping the primary fruit in the foreground.

In the glass, this Primitivo presents itself in an intense ruby red with violet reflections—a visual salute to depth and expressiveness. On the nose, we immediately perceive aromas of sour cherry and plum, underpinned by fine spice and vanilla notes that hint at a subtle spiciness. On the palate, the wine is round and smooth with soft, well-integrated tannins: the dark fruit remains present but carries a pleasant lightness that makes the Mediterranean terroir palpable.
