The Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso is an outstanding wine that embodies the elegance, complexity and structure of Bolgheri's unique terroir in perfect harmony. Since 1990, this exquisite wine has been produced from a careful selection of grapes consisting mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and occasionally a small percentage of Petit Verdot. This harmonious cuvée combines the powerful and fruity notes of the individual grape varieties and develops a fascinating bouquet reminiscent of ripe black fruits, spices and subtle floral nuances.
The vineyards from which the grapes originate are located on loamy-sandy to clayey-loamy alluvial soils, which are characterized by the Bolgheri agglomerate. These special soil conditions promote root growth and give the grapes an exceptional minerality, which is reflected in the wine. The Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso offers a complex taste experience with a harmonious balance between ripe tannins and lively acidity, leading to a long and elegant finish.
