  Antonella Corda's “Ziru” Nuragus di Cagliari impressively embodies the combination of Sardinian tradition and modern winemaking. The grapes come 100% from the indigenous Nuragus variety, which is rooted in the limestone and marl soils around Serdiana - a terroir characterized by Mediterranean winds and steep slopes. The name “Ziru,” a historical term in the Sardinian dialect for vessels used to store oil or wine, refers to the special methods used to make this wine: hand-picked grapes, longer maceration, and partial aging in clay amphorae give it a noticeable depth and texture.

In the glass, Ziru displays a light golden yellow color with shimmering reflections - a visual indication of its elegance and origin. The nose reveals white flowers, ripe pear, yellow apple, and a distinctive salty minerality that brings to life the interplay between land and sea in Sardinia. On the palate, the wine impresses with a smooth texture and surprising structure: gently integrated tannins - unusual for a white wine - and a long-lasting finish with fine spice give it style and character.
