  The “Senes” Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva is an impressive homage to the original Cannonau grape variety - a powerful yet refined interpretation that originates from the chalky clay soils of the Trexenta region, where harsh sunny days and cool nights give the grapes structure and depth. In the cellar, it undergoes controlled maceration with intensive extraction and aging in small oak barrels before continuing to mature in the leather of its bottle - a process that balances warmth and spice.

In the glass, this Riserva presents itself in a deep ruby red with garnet red glints - an indication of its concentration and class. The nose reveals a bouquet of ripe wild berries, sour cherries, and dried flowers, carried by Mediterranean herbs and fine spice and tobacco notes, which testify to the long barrel and bottle aging.
