This new, somewhat simpler Amarone version enjoys a shorter maceration period as well as a slightly shortened aging in barrique: the color is an intense garnet red, with ruby inclusions. The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe cherries and blackberries, as well as rum pot. On the palate of typical velvety, at the same time well-structured and of long finish. - Gerardo [TS06/19]
