Garda Cabernet-Sauvignon 'Terre in Fiore' DOC 2014 (Bio)

  Although these grape varieties originally hail from France, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc develop a truly unique personality on the poor, stony soils of the Veneto, focusing less on jammy sweetness and more on spicy finesse. In this organically produced blend, the robust backbone and dark cassis notes of the former complement the fine, herbal nuances of green pepper and graphite of the latter perfectly, resulting in a multi-layered bouquet that continues to open up with air contact in the glass.

On the palate, the avoidance of excessive oenological intervention is evident in an unadulterated, straightforward texture where the tannins provide the necessary grip without drying out the mouth.
