The grapes for this single-varietal Sangiovese come from vineyards near Pitigliano, Manciano and Sorano and ripen on tufa. Aging takes place for four months in stainless steel tanks followed by a short bottle aging. It is a medium-bodied, drinkable Sangiovese with typical Tuscan smoothness. The label shows an ancient cave cellar which is owned by Cantina di Pitigliano. - Gerardo
