The first vintage of the new Contesa dei Venti is here: this single-varietal Nero d'Avola di Vittoria is characterized by floral scents of lavender and violets. The fragrant bouquet captivates with notes of red fruits and lavender flowers together with delicate spicy and balsamic nuances. In the mouth it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasant return of fruity notes and a soft and captivating tannin. The finish is persistent and elegant. - Gerardo [TS06/21]
Gerardo's Notes: 'A label with intense colors reminiscent of those of plums and lavender. A woman, Contesa dei Venti, looks into the distance and is gently caressed by the wind with which she plays. The name of this wine is inspired by the pleasant breeze that is always present in the Vittoria area, blowing among the Nero d'Avola grapes by day and by night. A light breeze that comes from the dialogue between the sea and the Hyblaean mountains.
