  The Sul Vulcano white wine—an elegant representative of the volcanic region around Mount Etna—from Donnafugata impresses with its distinctive identity of origin: the grapes come mainly from the indigenous Carricante variety, cultivated on the northern slopes of Mount Etna at altitudes between 700 and 750 meters. The soils are of volcanic origin, interspersed with lava rock and mineral-rich sandy layers - this is precisely where the unique tension of this wine has its roots. In the cellar, gentle stainless steel fermentation is combined with partial aging in used French barriques, which emphasizes both freshness and depth.

In the glass, Sul Vulcano displays a pale yellow color with a golden sheen, a visual indication of its sunny origin and maturity. The bouquet presents citrus notes such as grapefruit and mandarin, combined with white flowers and a distinctive flint and mineral structure - unmistakably echoing the volcanic subsoil. On the palate, it captivates with lively freshness, dry charm, and a noticeable mineral vein that manifests itself in length and finesse.
