The Rosso di Montalcino Ginestreto exemplifies the craftsmanship and care of the Fuligni winery. It is made from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, some of which are matured in French oak, which gives the wine its smooth structure and a subtle amount of spice. In the glass, it presents itself with a vibrant ruby red color, its aroma combines ripe red fruits with a hint of spices and floral notes.
On the palate, the Ginestreto is accessible, balanced and yet with remarkable depth. The fine fruit acidity and silky tannins underline its fresh, lively character. Despite its youthfulness, it possesses astonishing elegance and complexity, making it a versatile food companion - be it with pasta, white meat or medium-bodied cheese. "Clear, tart, slightly buttery aroma of red and some black berries with cherry notes as well as wilted floral, mineral and slightly herbal tones. Also rather tart on the palate with typical buttery nuances, dried-vegetable to herbaceous and earthy tones, fine sandy tannins and a delicate acid bite, some persistence, slightly noticeable, warming alcohol, earthy notes, shows origin, good finish.
