The grapes for Lillové come from the vineyard of the same name in Barbagia, one of the most renowned regions for Cannonau in Sardinia. The terroir gives the wine its unmistakable personality. The nose reveals a multi-layered bouquet with intense aromas of ripe dark fruit, accompanied by floral notes reminiscent of violets - a bouquet that promises both power and elegance.
On the palate, the Lillové is balanced and supple, with well-integrated tannins that lend structure without dominating. The ripe fruit continues harmoniously, supported by a pleasant spiciness and a fine freshness. © www.gabbas.it Lillové comes from Barbagia, located in the heart of Sardinia, in an excellent Cannonau area where optimal ripeness of the grapes is guaranteed. Well-structured soils of weathered granite rock provide sufficient freshness even in hot summers. The climate is dry and the vineyards are well ventilated, so the vines hardly need the well-known treatments against vineyard diseases. A small number of buds per vine allows for a low but high quality grape yield. Lillové is made mainly from Cannonau grapes, with a small percentage of native red grapes.
