Kellerei Kaltern, South Tyrol
Pure variety Pinot Nero aged in ceramic eggs, produced in a unique small edition of 1,333 bottles.:
A Pinot Noir in search of authenticity, without the use of wood during fermentation and aging. Fermentation in ceramic eggs and maceration on the skins for about three months, then racking and aging in ceramic for another nine months. The grapes come from Oberplanitzing, from an eastern slope at 500 meters above sea level; clayey limestone gravel with porphyry and granite and thus high silicate content. - Gerardo [TS12/20]

The aim of this project is to give space to the joy of experimentation of the cellar master and to show how innovative the winery is.
