The grapes come from the vineyards of Count Otto Huyn in Siebeneich near Terlan. The color is ruby to dark garnet red. On the nose of light and dark berries and some green bell pepper and exotic spices. On the palate of medium body, elegant, fine fruit and velvety. - Gerardo [TS12/18]
Gerardo's Notes: 'The 'Collection' line is made from grapes harvested by the cellar master from selected sites and represents complex and straightforward wines. The selected grapes produce a ripe and powerful wine, elegant and long-lasting. This Cabernet decided from predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and some Cabernet Franc which thrive on warm, sun-exposed vineyards on weathered porphyry soils. A powerful, intense, yet elegant red wine with fine tannins and good freshness.
