  The “Otto Graf Huyn” Merlot Collection from the Bolzano Winery is a prime example of the harmonious combination of tradition and innovation in South Tyrolean viticulture. The grapes for this wine come from carefully selected vineyards around Bolzano, which are known for their optimal conditions for Merlot vines. After selective harvesting, traditional fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by aging in large oak barrels, which give the wine additional depth and complexity. The name “Otto Graf Huyn” honors the winery's historical connection to the count of the same name, whose vineyards have a long tradition in this region.

In the glass, the Otto Graf Huyn Merlot Collection presents itself in an intense ruby red with garnet red reflections. The bouquet seduces with aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blackberries, and a hint of spices.
