  The “Rosis” Rosenmuskateller from the Bolzano Winery is a rare gem among dessert wines, seducing the senses with its floral elegance and aromatic richness. The Rosenmuskateller grape variety, originally from Sicily, has been at home in South Tyrol since the 19th century and finds ideal conditions in the alluvial soils around Bolzano at an altitude of around 250 meters. After selective harvesting in mid to late September, the grapes are naturally air-dried before undergoing temperature-controlled fermentation. Aging in stainless steel and subsequent bottle aging preserve the freshness and fruitiness of this special wine.

In the glass, Rosis presents itself in a bright ruby red with dark reflections. The bouquet exudes an intense scent of rose petals and nutmeg, accompanied by aromas of red berries. On the palate, it unfolds a full-bodied, noble sweet structure, supported by a fine fruit acidity, resulting in a harmonious balance. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to sweet dishes such as doughnuts, poppy seed strudel, Linzer torte, crêpes, and fruit and chocolate desserts. - Gerardo [TS10/13]
