Gerardo's Notes: The Cabernet grape variety is one of the noble grape varieties and has been native to South Tyrol for over a hundred years. The grapes for this fruity and spicy wine come from selected vineyards. The two related grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon as well as Cabernet Franc are used in this wine. These grow on the warmest soils in the valley floor around Bolzano and in the Adige Valley.
