Cabernet DOC 2014

  The Cabernet from the Bolzano Winery combines two noble varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc - and comes from selected vineyards in the warm limestone and alluvial soils around Bolzano and the Adige Valley, where the sun and slopes provide the grapes with abundant ripeness. The grapes undergo classic red wine processing with traditional fermentation and subsequent malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, giving the wine an impressive structure and elegant fruitiness.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color with dense color substance—as if the valley terroir had left its mark. The nose reveals a bouquet of blackcurrants, blackberries, and cranberries, interspersed with subtle spicy and herbal nuances. On the palate, the Cabernet is powerful without being clumsy: a full body, sensually soft tannins, and a connection to the mineral soils of its origin give it depth.
