The aroma is composed of scents of roses, ripe wild strawberries, cranberries and a spicy note of cinnamon. The taste is soft with gentle tannins, a gentle fullness in the mouth and persistence in the finish. This passito pairs well with fruit desserts and chocolate tarts. - Gerardo [TS06/18]

Gerardo's Notes: 'The Montiggl vineyard is located near the Montiggl lake. In late autumn, the mists from the lake rise into the vineyard and favor the formation of botrytis. This noble rot is characteristic of great dessert wines such as Pasithea Rosa.
