  The “Tradition” Chardonnay from the Terlan Winery is a stylish combination of international variety and Alpine origin: it is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, cultivated on the sandy and porphyry-rich soils of the Winkl, Kreuth, and Montigl vineyards near Terlan. Hand-picked, gently pressed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, the wine is deliberately produced in a modern and precise manner; storage on the fine lees gives it a subtle creaminess and depth.

In the glass, the Chardonnay displays a light straw yellow color with golden reflections. The bouquet reveals exotic fruit notes such as banana, mango, passion fruit, and sugar melon, as well as a hint of lemon balm, which lends the wine freshness and personality. On the palate, this tropical fruitiness combines with a fine mineral saltiness and balanced structure - the wine is smooth, harmonious and has good volume. A versatile accompaniment to dishes such as steamed fish, risotto or light snacks, and at the same time a wine that clearly reflects its origins through its style and substance. - Gerardo [TS10/26]
